This is an expansion pack for the KontinuumLAB Instrument Kit. To use this, you will need the Teensy microcontroller from the full kit, which has the KLIK software programmed onto it.

This expansion pack contains:
1x KLIK breakout board
5x KLIK CNY70 sensor modules
1x KLIK multiplexer modules
1x multiplexer connection cable
2x KLIK button modules
10x selection jumpers

The microcontroller inside the KontinuumLAB Instrument Kit comes with all of the KLIK instruments already programmed onto it, so you can make them all without any knowledge of programming.
With the KLIK, the sensors are plug and play, so there’s also no need for advanced electronics skills. However, more expert makers can use the KLIK to make quite fancy instruments.
With the KLIK-V2 all of the instruments work both as MIDI controllers, and as stand alone instruments with their own internal synthesizers and audio output.
The kit was developed first of all as a teaching tools for the KontinuumLAB workshop, and so the instruments have some limitations. The main point is that the instruments are incredibly easy to build, but also fully functional.
With the KLIK you’re guaranteed many hours of fun building and playing lots of different instruments.

There are 8 basic instruments, which cover all major instrument families. The list includes:
16 key keyboard
4-string instrument (ukulele or bass)
Membrane percussion
Capacitive percussion
Ocarina
Recorder
Trumpet
Saxophone
